real estate tax lawyers
it is possible to inherit liens on real estate(tax, mechanics, so on) if you don’t check right?
i was told that when you buy a propety through bank, someone would check for lien against the property you ‘re buying under closing fee. so you don;t have to be concern about that if you doing it through bank right? but if you ‘re paying full price without a loan, then you could inherit lien if you don;t check right? so in that case you should hire an lawyer to check the property for you cuz you got no one else to check for you right? do you only need to be concern about lien liability in cases like when you got no one else checking for you like the bank/lender?
liens are attached to the property and the lien holders actually have an order of priority. As a buyer the price of the property you buy is based on the asking price of the seller after closing the lien holders will get paid or satisfied before the seller gets any money. If you inherit real estate that has attachments or liens then they do become your problem and however much is owed would be taken from the monies you received at the time of sale When you try to sell it. since no monies passed hands at the time of your inheritance the lien holders will have to wait till the property is actually sold
